LHA Serum is an oil-free, targeted serum for aging & acne-prone skin. This first-to-market acid blend uniquely combines LHA, salicylic acid, glycolic acid and dioic acid to reduce excess sebum production, prevent clogged pores, improve the look of acne-prone skin, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, and texture.

Key Ingredients:

Dioic Acid

Naturally found in various animal fats and vegetable oils, dioic acid in skincare helps reduce excess sebum while diminishing P.acnes bacteria. This ingredient has also been shown to improve the appearance of uneven skin tone. SkinCeuticals only uses vegetable-derived dioic acid for skin in its formulations.

0.3% LHA derived from Capryloyl Salicylic Acid

A derivative of salicylic acid, this lipohydroxy acid (LHA) helps promote cell turnover via targeted exfoliation. It has also been shown to decongest pores and refine the skin’s surface.

1.5% Salicylic Acid

Salicylic acid in skincare is a beneficial ingredient for those with oily and acne-prone skin, as well as other skin concerns. This beta hydroxy acid helps exfoliate the skin and refine the appearance of pores while reducing the formation of acne when used at the proper concentration.

How to use:

Prep + Dispense

Once or twice daily, dispense 4-5 drops of Blemish + Age Defense into clean hands.

Apply + Complete

Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer of serum. If using in the morning, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C antioxidant serum and before a SkinCeuticals sunscreen.
